Progress

We now have internet and phone service. It is only a temporary solution until we get the credit we need set up, but it is working and we aren't paying out the nose.

We worked with a number of real estate companies today. We even found one house that might be the one. It is in the neighborhood we want, has an enclosed back yard, private parking, and is super duper luper close to the Husband's work. Hopefully things work out, but if not, we are okay because we have our apartment until the end of the month and it can be extended.

We rented a car to drive around town for the month. Because we are cheap, we got the cheapest one. It is SO SO SO SO SO SO small. I promise to post photos as soon as I get a chance to take them. I will also take some photos of the village and whatnot. The car is hilarious. I feel like I am part of a clown-car act in the circus when we fold ourselves into it. At least I can reach back and take car of the kids without having to move much more than my right arm. :)

We drove up to RAF Croughton yesterday and went to the commissary and checked on our shipments and whatnot. They are already here and we might even get the advance shipment delivered to the apartment next week. As soon as we find a house we will get the big shipment of all of our stuff delivered.

So, progress is being made. The kids are fitting in very well. The beach just a block away and we walk along looking for sea glass for Nahla. There is A LOT here. There is a nice park about a half mile walk away. It even has a SEE-SAW! The Little Bean has made fast friends with the village homeless guy. He is really nice and has two wonderful dogs. She likes to stop and buy them treats and then take them over to feed the pups and love on them. She runs over yelling, "RUFUS! AGGIE!" holding out their treats. Naturally the dogs love her and give her kisses. The homeless guy told me that he doesn't like the term, "homeless" but likes "guy who lives outside" better. He is a really super nice and it is obvious that he takes WONDERFUL care of his pups.

There are hilarous things that happen everyday. I forget most of them, but I rememeber this commercial and wanted to share.
On the children's channel the commercial comes on and is of these yogurt squeezes marching along. I didn't pay much attention until the end when it said, "Rip our heads of and suck our guts out." The squeezes are packaged to look like people and when you open them you rip off their heads.
Nice!!
