Hiking Again

We went for a nice hike out on the moors recently in an effort to relax from all the crazy happening around here. It was a fantastic hike and everyone enjoyed our time outside playing in the snow. Even the Baby Bean seems to really enjoy chilly weather and laughs when the wind blows in his face. I am guessing he has his father's metabolism to keep him warm.
I had to post this photo because the Daddy insists that I look like the Nahla wearing an oversized flannel shirt. I had on two shirts and a jacket but it was really cold, so I broke down and put on the Husband's flannel jacket.
One of the wild resident's of dartmoor.

This was our hiking destination. The tor, not sure what the name was, but there are about a zillion tors in the park. We hope to hike to lots and lots of them. There are also loads of Roman ruins in the park that we hope to visit. Those hikes are a little long for the weather and the Little Bean's attention span right now.
The Daddy and the Baby Bean made it to the tor way before we did and decided to take a nap while they waited for the Little Bean and I.

After we reached the top the Little Bean gave up and asked that I carry her back down. At first she hung on quite well, but slowly she began to slide around. The Husband looked and it turns out that she had fallen asleep on my back. I ended up hiking down the hill all bent over so she wouldn't fall off.
Brits don't need fences, they have stiles!
