Botanical Gardens

The Husband and I were told about a really neat botanical garden near our house. We thought it sounded a bit boring for the kids, but decided to try it out. HOLY COW!! The place is 60 acres. It has an old church, a beautiful reflecting pond filled with swans, geese, and ducks, and indoor play area for kids, an ICE SKATING RINK, mini-golf, an EXTENSIVE outdoor play area, a maze, trails for walking, a little creek and a working train to ride around and look at the gardens. This is in addition to all of the trees, the hothouses, the store and the restaurant. We purchased a year pass as we KNOW we will be going back many many times.

This is the little play village at the park. It has real thatched roofs and everything. The Little Bean was beside herself with excitement. We didn't even get chance to use the playground or the indoor play area.
Here she is looking at the ducks. You can see how crazy her hair is. That is thanks to the "rats"
