Pirate Day At Powderham Castle

We have been waiting for pirate week for three long weeks, and yesterday was finally the day.  Sophia was up early and came downstairs with her dress, belt, sword, and eye patch already set and ready to go.

To join the pirate crew we had to meet under the jolly roger.  She came up with her pirate outfit all by herself.  It was even her idea to wear a belt to hold up her sword.

After the joining the pirate crew we were given treasure maps.  When we had answered and found all the clues we turned in the maps and were given our gold treasure!

Powderham Castle and Jaunty Depp did an amazing job with their Pirate Week.  It was super fun for the kids and parents too!
