Proud Frog Mama!
My little tadpole babies are now big boy and big girl frogs. This is a late post as the SD card was missing until recently. Sophia and I released the frogs a few weeks back and we see them occasionally when we are out in the yard working.

I didn't know they were the type of frog that could climb on glass and shortly after we took this photo, a lid was acquired for the tank. My plan was to keep the frogs even after their tails went away to let them get a bit bigger and have more of a chance of survival. We must have done okay because of the frogs we see outside.
This tadpole project was a little more time consuming than I anticipated but it was so worth it. I loved looking at the tadpoles and watching them change, but Hank and Soph loved to look at them even more. We would be in the living room and one or both of the kids would disappear, we would find them staring into the fishtank. Every morning as soon as he came downstairs he would run to check on them. Maybe we will try this again next year.
