Dragon Week - Powderham Castle

The kids had to find the nests of dragon eggs around the castle grounds to solve the puzzle and get a prize.  They were pretty excited about thier finds!  Hank really wanted a dragon egg of his own and was not pleased when we told him he was not allowed to touch them.

The brave Sir Drew P. Drawers was on a quest to slay a dragon but ended up helping one out instead. 

The evil Witch called Hazel who had been tricking her clients and taking their gold had to be defeated!

This was the dragon who was to be killed but ended up being a sweet and friendly guy who had been fleeced by that mean old Witch Hazel.  Soph had mixed feelings about the dragon.

This was when Sir Drew initially confronted the dragon.

Hank was pretty impressed.  He was holding Soph's hand for much of the dragon bit because he was "scared."  I think he just likes to be dramatic.

The boys were a bit tired out by the end of the dragon event!
