The Beach

We have been here just about three weeks and have been to the beach just as many times.  Everyone enjoys it there.  Some of us enjoy the water, some of us enjoy the sand.  Sophia loves the water and is a good swimmer but the waves are a little big for her so she likes to go out past the breakers with one of us.

Daddy is preferred as he is taller than me and so the water doesn't smash her in the face nearly as often as it does when I take her out.  She is a trooper though and can handle getting rolled by the waves. I think it scares her more than anything, but it doesn't last long and she is up and headed back out again!

Hank doesn't care for the water so much.  He does have a game he likes that involves running towards the water, waiting for a wave to come in and then running away from the wave as it comes up the beach.  This way, he only gets his feet wet if he runs to slow or waits to long to take off.
