High Maintenance Bean

Today was crazy. We are getting ready for a long road trip and spent the day doing all of the last minute sort of things so that we can leave in the morning. My intent was to post a picture of the beans sitting in front of the luggage to give you guys an idea of the amount of stuff that we are taking. But as you notice, there is no picture, because I never managed to make it happen. Who knew that someone so little could require so much stuff. The truth is, they don't really require it, do they? They would be just as happy to play with one toy and wear only diapers. Of course that just wouldn't do. So we end up with a bag of clothes, a bag of baby food, cereal, and formula, a bag of toys, a floor activity gym, and a bouncy chair. The big bean and I just share a bag with some clothes, toiletries, dog food and dog snacks. This is partly because I still have quite a bit of weight to loose before I can fit into my old clothes, so I only have about three outfits that fit my fat butt. And I blatantly refuse to buy new "fat girl" clothes. I vow to wear maternity pants until I loose enough weight to fit back into my old wardrobe. You guys will probably see me walking around in ragged pants when the little bean is a year old, still insisting that I will loose the weight and refusing to buy new clothes. Whoever said that breastfeeding helps a woman loose baby weight LIED! LIED! LIED! But that rant is better left to a different blog entry.

We leave tomorrow on the road trip. I will try to update the blog while on the road, but I can't promise anything. We should arrive at the end of the week and I will get back to posting this weekend.

These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago, but they are cute, so I posted them since I didn't take any other photos today. I think in the first one it looks as though the beans are planning something diabolical, and then in the second one, they have gotten caught and look terribly guilty.
