Pulling Up

I don't know why these photos are so dark. I tried to lighten them up, but wasn't very successful. Oh well.

Today, the Little Bean played in her crib for a little while. During this brief period of time she learned to grab the bars and started to pull herself into the standing position. She was not particularly successful, but she tried very hard. I give her a few weeks before we have to lower the level of the mattress so she does not chuck herself over and into to the floor. We got a few cute pictures of her trying to pull herself up and also just playing around in the crib.














The photo above is my very favorite. She looks like an animal in a cage or like she has been in jail for too long and has turned mean. In reality, she is just leaning her head on the bars in an effort to stand up. But it looks super funny. If you click on it and open it in its own window, you can see the expression on her face. Too funny.














In this picture, she has managed to get to her feet. It didn’t last long, but she did make it happen for a minute. And yes, in case you noticed, I am still wearing my maternity clothes. Those darn pre-bean clothes are just so tiny. :) There will be NO comments on this. :)
