Puppy Sitting

We are back safe and sound.

Today we played with the puppy that we are babysitting for the next week. She is five months old and full of wild puppy energy and curiosity. I had forgotten what it was like to have a puppy around, since the Big Bean is seven years old. The puppy is very sweet and is accustomed to being around children and babies. She licks the little bean and plays frisbee with the Big Bean.

Having her around makes me think about getting a puppy when the Husband gets home. I always thought the Big Bean hated puppies as she would never play with them and would always either ignore or growl at them. Strangely, she has really taken to the Puppy. They run and play and chase the frisbee and generally have a great time together. Maybe the Big Bean needs a sister after all.

Here they are in the pool together. The Little Bean splashed water into her eyes.

Again, they are enjoying the pool. The Puppy is torn between swimming with the Little Bean and chasing the Big Bean around the field.

And here is a great picture of The Big Belly Bean! Isn't her tummy huge. It cracks me up.
