Another Tooth And A New Sound
The photo above is The Little Bean meeting The Belle Cat. She gets so excited when she sees one of the cats that she starts screeching and waving her fists around so much that it scares the cats and they run away! Maybe they have been talking to the dogs about how The Little Bean mauls animals.
A second tooth has erupted from the gums of The Little Bean. She was having a hard time sleeping lately, and now I know why. That mean ole tooth was cutting through her gums.
This morning The Little Bean said "da-da." It was the first time she has said it. Now she has three sounds in addition to all the other crazy hissing, raspberries, and other goofy sounds. She can say "ma-ma, ba-ba, and da-da." So exciting!!
She continues to crawl everywhere, and has proven to be good at crawling over obstacles. She is also pulling up to standing on absolutely any hard surface, including any dog that will stay still long enough (picture of her using the dog to come). Last night she fell two times while trying to stand in her crib. She smacked her mouth on the bars both times and had a little meltdown. I think it was more that she was tired that she cried, and less that she was in pain.
Her personality is continuing to emerge. Her temper is quite evident. I am not sure who to blame that on. However, since she looks more like the husband than me, I have decided that he should take responsibility for her temper too!

When The Beans Cousin C out here as a baby my Mom had a cat which was also deathly afraid of C. He would come running up to the creen door and screech the loudest screech you have ever heard and the cat would go running.
