Because We Need More Stress In Our Lives

We adopted a puppy today.
We had been thinking and talking about it for a while now and stumbled upon the right pup last week and we got to bring him home today. He was one of a litter of hound/lab puppies that a couple of ladies at our vets office found in a dumpster. They cleaned them up, gave them medical attention and then bottle-fed them until they got big enough for adoption. He is about 9 weeks old now.

We are not sure what our little hound/lab will turn out to look and act like when he gets bigger. We are hoping that we chose the one that will look and act most "lab" like. Hopefully he will grow up to be the same size as and have a similar disposition of the Big Bean and will be able to PT with us. Knowing our luck, he will resemble a big Basset Hound and lay around the house drooling all day. Regardless, he is now one of the Beans and we will love him no matter what!

So far he has fit into the family quite well. He really wants to play with the Big Bean but whenever she plays back, she scares him a bit. I think as he gets bigger they will be able to play more.

The Little Bean loves him already too! They both crawl all over each other and play around. It is pretty cute to see it. Just like the Big Bean, I think as they both get bigger, they will get to be better and better friends.

It is hard to photograph them though, because they are moving so quickly all the time. Enjoy the photos that we did manage to get.
