Houdini Beani Has Been Foiled

As you can see in the photos I have finally found the straps for the high chair. I expected the Little Bean to throw a fit when she was strapped into the chair for lunch, but she didn't seem to care at all. She attempted to escape, but once she realized that she was strapped in, she sat there like a good girl. Amazing!

I wish I could know what is going on inside the head of that little one. Her personality is really starting to come out and she is not shy when it comes to letting us know what she wants. She is even telling the Puppy Bean her opinions. He often steals her toys and runs away. Lately, she has been chasing him down and taking her things back. The Pup is still stronger than she is, so she can't always wrestle her things away, but she certainly tries.

It is clear that she loves her brother and sister. She always wants to be near them and playing with them, even when they are being really rough and dangerous. It has been confirmed that her first word after "Da-Da" and "Ma-Ma" is the Big Bean's name. It is so cute!

The sleeping thing is going great! There is no longer any need for bottles or pacifiers. She lays in her bed and fusses for just a few minutes and then falls right to sleep. Sometimes, she doesn't even fuss at all, she just lays down and drifts off to sleep. She still uses her blankie and we call her "Linus."
