2nd Annual Christmas Cookie Event

Today was the family's 2nd Annual Christmas Cookie Event. We baked and decorated all sorts of Christmas cookies and had a super fun time. The photo below is the Little Bean wondering if the cookies are finished baking yet! Here the Daddy is showing off his artistic side. You can see the photo of the Little Bean and Santa in the back ground. She went to get her photo made yesterday. As usual, she loved Santa just as she loves everyone!
I am showing off our cookie decorating skills! The bottom one spells out the Little Bean's name, so I blurred it out.
The baby woke up from her nap and sat on the stool to watch her Daddy finish the cookies. She was so cute sitting there so quietly and watching the Daddy while clutching her Linus blanket!
After decorating those cookies, the Little Bean went to help Daddy haul wood. She got all bundled up and stood in the truck while he loaded and unloaded wood for the furnace. It was super cute. She also put her mouth on the cold metal of the truck bed. I guess it felt good on her gums. She has two top teeth trying to come in. They are just moving very slowly.

OH, and the Little Bean also did a NEW thing today. I was pretty excited. She was playing with a toy that has cows and sheep and whatnot. I was playing with her and telling her that the cow goes, "moo" and the sheep says, "baa." She started to mimic me and mooed and baaed back. She had never done that before and I was really surprised.
Lots of "firsts" at the Grandparent's house!
