Happy New Year!

After finishing some chores today, we decided to spend our New Year's Day at the park. The park has a huge lake and lots and lots of land. The only problem was the freezing cold wind that was coming off the lake and freezing us. The Little Bean was all bundled up and didn't notice the wind too much. The Big Bean couldn't have cared less about the weather, the wind, or anything else. All she noticed was that there was a frisbee and a body of water. She had a wonderful time. It has been a while since she went swimming and she was so happy to be back in the water!
The Puppy Bean has never been around the water and because he is a flight risk, he was kept on his leash. The Husband pushed him into the water a few times, but he was never in very deep. He just got his feet wet. The last time, he just sort of stood there in the water and splashed around a bit. He didn't swim. Maybe next time.
After we got into the car, it was immediately clear that the dogs were super STINKY! They were covered in mud and smelled absolutely terrible. So, we decided that they needed a bath. The Puppy Bean jumps in happily, but then wants to jump out just as quickly. True to form, he is a bathtub flight risk too!

The Little Bean wanted to help wash her sister.
After the bath, the pups all collapsed into their beds and curled up for naps. The Puppy Bean is all coiled up in the blue bed. You can hardly see him.
The Little Bean found her sister's frisbee and tried to play with her, but she was just too tired.
