Temper Tamtrums!

The Little Bean threw her first temper tantrum yesterday and then another one today. They were pretty impressive, but I was so shocked and surprised that my reaction may not have been ideal. I just couldn't help but laugh at her. It was so dramatic and ridiculous. She wanted kool-ade instead of milk and would not give up. I told her no about a hundred times, and on the 101st time, she lost it and had a full blown tantrum. She started screaming and tossing her head and arms all around and kicking her feet. Tears were streaming and she looked just silly. It was insane. Needless to say, she did not get the kool-aid. After I finished laughing, we ended our lunch. I am hoping that by nipping this in the bud now, we can avoid future tantrums. That is how it works, right? Right?


At my parent's place, they emptied out a cabinet for her in the kitchen. She normally just puts toys there, but this time she decided to put herself inside. Then she asked her Gran to help her close the doors. She sat in there and giggled, then popped out and laughed! It was very cute.

She continues to attempt to feed herself, but as you can see, it is a steep learning curve to feed yoursef without getting the food all over your face.
