Day Six

The Little Bean seems to be feeling better. She slept all night last night and her fever has been down to 99 and 100. Maybe this time she is getting better for real. Keep your fingers crossed.
Yesterday while at the doctor's office, the Little Bean met a girl who desperately wanted to play with her. Both sets of parents tried to stop them because they were sick, but neither child cared to listen. In the end, we just watched the drama unfold.
The Little Bean doesn't really know how to play with other children and generally just stares at them while playing by herself. Her new friend was two years old and way more socially sophisticated. She circled the Little Bean like a shark waiting to make her move, then when she got close enough, she grabbed her and pulled her into a hug/headlock. The Little Bean screeched and made a desperate attempt to escape, falling and hitting her head in the process. She erupted into tears and came running to her father and I. The little hugger was left bewildered and got so upset at her rejection and the Little Bean's tears that she peed in her pants. Literally. Right there in the waiting room. It was hilarious and a little bit crazy. Kids are so weird.
These are two photos that the Daddy took last night. She was feeling better, but she still wasn't 100%.
I love the top photo. Her crooked little grin and smirk is awesome. I see trouble in your futrure....
