Saturday - Hiking Day!

Last weekend we didn't go hiking because it was a 50% chance of rain and we didn't want to get caught out. We stayed home and watched the blue sky and beautiful weather and wished that we had gone hiking. This weekend, it was 50% chance of rain and we went anyway.

About halfway through the hike, the skies opened up and it rained super hard. There was even thunder! We were completely drenched. So wet that the dogs were shaking themselves like they had just been swimming!

But then it stopped and we dried out and all was well. It was a nice hike/walk and we had a good time.
While hiking today, we found these rings and naturally, I was WAY to short to jump up to get them. The husband helped me, but every time we were getting ready to jump, I collapsed into a fit of giggles and fell down.

After the second or third time of these giggle fits, the husband got fed up and just picked me up and threw me up to the rings.

Then it was his turn! I know we are dorks. We are at peace with our dorkiness!
