Jibber Jabber

The Little Bean is becoming a very verbal little girl. She is constantly jabbering and has learned many new words in just the past couple of weeks. She has learned the words, "baby" "juice" "tweet" "woof" and "please." She is also making all sorts of new sounds like, "ssss" and "ffff."
On the physical development side, she has learned how to open up ziploc bags of snacks. (which she often pours onto the floor for her and her puppy siblings to gobble.) Her climbing skills are improving and she is caught climbing on top of tables on a regular basis. She is big into running and doesn't ever seem to actually walk anymore. It is all running. She is working hard on jumping and jumps all over the place while holding on to something. So far, no jumping without support though. She is also loving to dance! She is super cute when she dances and it makes us laugh!

She is showing that she is hearing and recognizing sounds. She lets me know when the microwave is finished, when the dogs bark, and when my phone rings. My favorite is that when she hears a motorcycle, she shouts, "DADDY!" It is the cutest thing, until we are at home and a loud vehicle drives by, the dogs start to bark and the Little Bean starts shouting, "Daddy! Daddy!," and it takes me 10 minutes to convince everyone that Daddy is at work and won't be home for a few hours. Once, I actually had to open the front door and show then that there was no motorcycle or truck outside before they would calm down.

It is really exciting to see how quickly she is learning things.

This past week, we also made an INSANE decision. Friends of ours are buying and a house, and are days from closing on it, and they moved out of their apartment and are staying in a hotel, and we are watching their dog. So the craziness in our house has been multiplied.
