Back To Reality
Our perfect beach vacation is OVER. The culmination of the sad departure was the decision to leave the scavaged dragon boogie board at the beach house for the next family of vacationers. Or maybe the owners of the beach house could sell it for funds. They seem to be having money problems as the phone rang a million times each night wondering if they were going to pay their credit card and other bills. We tried to explain that the credit agency had contacted a vacation rental and the owners were not living there. Either the callers didn't care or there were so many of them that we couldn't possibly inform them all, but they just kept calling. Maybe that explains why the beach house was up for sale. If anyone wants to give me $430,000 to buy that house, not only would I appreciate it, but so would the apparently debt ridden beach house owners. I'm just saying. :)
Anyway, the road trip yesterday was pretty rough, but it is finally over. The Beans and I brought my mom home and then will be heading up to meet the Husband at our house in a couple of days.
The Little Bean misses the beach, or maybe she just misses waking up in the morning, eating, and then spending the day outside. She has spent this morning getting into everything and seemingly looking for trouble. It is rainy here, so we can't just take her outside. I guess it will take some time to get back into our routine.
Pictures to come.
