Still At The BEACH!

We are still here at the BEACH! We went to Shark's Tooth Beach on Sunday and the Gran found a whole bunch of teeth. She also found some sea glass and a sea urchin skeleton. It was pretty exciting. We plan on going back again tomorrow when the tide is out so we can find a MILLION shark's teeth!

The Little Bean is warming up to the whole beach idea and is no longer afraid of the waves that come on shore. She is getting a little too brave though, because she runs out really far, then the waves come in and knock her over. She doesn't really mind though, she just gets up and runs back up the beach to dry sand. Then starts the whole process over again.

We took the dogs out last night and let the Big Bean play with her frisbee. She ran and romped and acted so goofy. It was like the salt water washed away five years of her oldness and turned her into a puppy again. She even went out and swam with the Daddy.

The Puppy Bean has also gotten more accustomed to the waves too. He was super scared of them the first time we took him out and he howled and talked the whole time we were there. After his 4th or 5th time out there, he started playing with the waves and trying to bite them when they came close to him. He dug in the sand and played with his puppy sister. This morning, when we took him out to pee, he kept walking around the corner as though he thought we were going back to the beach. I wish that he wasn't such a flight risk, he would have so much more fun if he could go off leash. Alas, this isn't an option as he would run off and terrorize all the people on the beach, then run into the road to his death. So, he stays on leash. Maybe when he grows up, he will become less of a flight risk, maybe not.

Swimming leaves everyone so tired! The Daddy and the Puppy Bean had to relax on the couch.
