*sniff* *sniff*

The Husband and I just drove away from the house to begin our super exciting camping trip! And by drove away from the house, I mean we left the two dogs and the The Little Bean in the capable hands of the Granny Gran. To say that the departure was difficult would be an understatement, BUT I did not cry. This is only the second time in nearly two years that we have left our little girl for an overnight trip.

The Husband's reaction included a short victory dance as he has been pressuring me to find a sitter and go out on adult only excursions for quite a while now. Needless to say, I have found a million reasons to avoid this, to include demanding that any babysitter be infant CPR certified, pass a rigorous barrage of questions about child care, have 30+ years experience with children, or work in a neonatal or pediatric unit of a hospital, and in short, be either the Granny Gran or Grandma R.

We hope to have some photos to put up soon. Hopefully none of them will be of a horse trampled campsite or wild horse bitten camper.
