Beany Updates

For the past week, the Little Bean has lived off of watered down juice and a few bites of each meal. I was really starting to get worried, but not after this morning. When I went to get her this morning, the child looked at me and said, "Eat!" And that is what she has done all morning. She is now taking a nap, but insisted on "Eat!" before she lay down and went on to eat an entire bowl of mac and cheese. It will be interesting to see if she wants more to eat when she wakes up.
She is also obsessed with "Running!" and always wants to do so. This is tough when we are in the grocery store, post office, and other places that her running complicates things. The walk to the park and back is about 1 mile and the Little Bean recently "RAN!" the entire way there and back the other day. At the park, she is now obsessed with the parallel bars. For her they are like monkey bars and she runs directly to them, reaches up to grab them, then hangs and swings from them while laughing like a goof ball!
There are also a few new words that are favorites these days. The two big ones are "Mess" and "Broke." Last night we were in the floor playing with her giant legos and she would come and knock down anything that her Father or I built. Then she would look up at us and say, "Broke! Broke, Mama!" Then she looks around at all the legos everywhere and says, "Mess!"
She has also started to say her name, or at least an abbreviated part of it. She can't say words that start with "S" so she just leaves the first syllable off her name and says the last two. I think it is pretty cute to hear.
Finally, the idea of "Mine" has started to make sense to the Little Bean. EVERYTHING is hers lately. In the last couple of days she has started to say things like "Mama shoes." or "Daddy truck." So I think maybe she is getting the idea that not everything is hers!
Do you think she may be so interested in "running" since mommy and daddy enjoy it on a daily basis???? Just sayin'....
