Learning From The Master

As I never learned how to make biscuits, the Little Bean is our last hope of keeping the southern tradition of biscuits alive! She is taking lessons from The Master, also know as Granny Gran. Both the teacher and the student had WAY to much fun making these biscuits, AND they were edible! Deliciously edible! (I had some with gravy and some with butter and jelly!)

First you mix the dough!
Then you look at your hands because they are all gross and sticky!
Then you put the dough on the counter.
Then you roll them out with the rolling pin.
The next step involves cutting them and putting them into a pan, but things got a little crazy around this time. I wish we had gotten a photo of the "finished product." The Little Bean was covered in flour and so happy! Lucky for us, the Gran is super patient and doesn't mind messes!
