Potty Training Breakthrough!

No photos today, just a quick update on the potty training front. The Little Bean is getting REALLY good at using the potty. She used the potty more yesterday than her diaper and the whole family was super excited! Today is going well too. I am not sure what has changed that makes her want to use the potty more these days, but I am excited about it. The Husband and I have both agreed that we will not push her. We will just let her go at her own pace. If we ask her if she wants to go and she says no, then we will just let it go and ask her again later. I don't see much point it making the whole thing a traumatic experience that involves us forcing her to sit on the potty when she doesn't want to.

We have only one glitch in the potty system! When she uses the potty and we tell her that she has done a great job and then let her flush, she get REALLY excited. We are prepared to move on and do other stuff, but she insists that she has MORE and insists that she sit back down. So, I end up spending a ridiculous amount of time sitting on the floor of the bathroom and reading board books. But I guess that is better than spending a ridiculous amount of time sitting on the floor and changing diapers! :)

I did get a little ambitious yesterday and let her run FREE for a few minutes. Not the smarted decision as she was playing in her room and then ran to find me to tell me that she had peed on the floor! oops! At least she knew to come and tell me.
