Saturday Fun
We went for the shortest slowest hike in the history of the WORLD on Saturday. Even though we were going at the pace of a two year old, and only walked for about two miles, the hike still resulted in about 16 contractions and a few stops for the pregnant lady. I think that we will go back to this hike again soon because it was SO cool. (we can do the whole eight miles after the Future Bean is born!) Much of the hike was situated along a river, the scenery was beautiful, and the starting point was relatively close to our house. I also want to show our friend T the place. She has two labradors who will love to join the Big Bean in a nice swim. We also saw about a million trail runners along the way and since T is always running, maybe she could add this to her dog friendly running trail list. The only sad thing is that we haven't been hiking here sooner.
The person to the right was cut out not because we don't like her, but because she has threatened me with extreme physical violence if she ever finds her photo on the blog.
The Little Bean insisted on following her father down to the water through the slippery mud. We are so very lucky that she loves to be outside as much as we do. I swear the whole family feels happier after a hike or a trip to the park or even raking leaves and filling the birdfeeders, anything that invovles being outside!
