Winter Hiking!

I absolutely LOVE winter hiking! The only thing better...winter hiking with snow. While living in Central Asia we had the most wonderful winter hiking trips ever. We would hike up to these waterfalls in deep snow and the waterfalls would be frozen and be all bright and blue and dripping with icecicles. It was amazing. The hike today wasn't nearly as dramatic, but it was great fun and the Little Bean walked almost the entire two miles. The dogs had a fantastic time, the Big Bean jumping into the river and breaking through the ice while the Puppy Bean ran around like he would never be allowed outside again.

The Daddy and the Little Bean played on the ice, tested its thickness, and even skated around a little bit.
