Almost Three

The Little Bean is almost THREE years old. This is extemely difficult for me to believe. She is so big and so smart and so perceptive that I am constantly surprised. I am so proud of her but at the same time it makes me a little sad that she isn't my baby anymore. Her independence is unbelievable. She is big into the "I'm a big girl, I can do it myself," stuff. She is also REALLY into having EVERYTHING organized and tidy. She can't sleep unless her shoes are all lined up and not crazy. When she wakes up in the morning and gets dressed she INSISTS that I help her fold her jams up and put them in the drawer and the same thing with her dresses when we go tos bed at night. AND she is crazy about having her bed made just the right way. The child actually spends time in her room all by herself organizing her things and then asks us to come in and see what she has done. She fully expects us to say, "WOW!" if we don't she prompts us to hear the required response. Even though she looks a lot like me, she is clearly her father's daughter when it comes to organization and being WIERD!! We sure love that goofy kid.
She also likes to play fencing on the Wii. She is actually quite good at it and generally wins. You can see in the above photo on the tv her opponent is splashing into the water in defeat!
