Daddy Time

Daddy's idea of a stroller.
This weekend we spent a LOT of time outside working in the garden. The peas, tomatoes, carrots, and corn we had grown in the greenhouse were ready to transplant outside, we had to tie up the roses, plant some flowers, weed, clean the Husband's motorcycle, etc.

We were pretty busy and I learned two valuable lessons. 1) Do NOT bite into a raw rhubarb stalk just to see what it tastes like. They taste pretty bad. 2) If there is one single geranium that will not grow and just looks sickly while the others are thriving it is probably because a 80 lb dog named Cash has been SITTING on it while he surveys his "territory". Poor poor little geranium.

As I was the main plant manager, the Daddy spent a lot of time entertaining the little ones. As you can tell by the photos below, he did a FINE job!
