The Beany Plague
The Beany Plague is visiting our home. It really isn't the plague, but rather a virus targeting one's upper respiratory system leaving them with a raging headache, ear ache, sore throat, cough, and stuffy nose and feeling so bad they swear they have been struck down with the plague.
a random photo from last week. no photos of the Bean Plague.
It all started with the carrier or germs, Sophia. In addition to all the cool crafts she brought home from school, she brought this nasty cold virus too. Ever the sweet sibling, she infected her brother first, then me, and now the poor Daddy is starting to feel bad. We are all feeling yucky, tired, cranky, and generally blah.
On a side note there is a really funny Sophia story. The story begins in a very non funny way. Sophia dropped her fork at supper and climbed under the table to retrieve it, and while under the table getting her fork she found a crayon. For reasons I have yet to understand, she thought it would be a good idea to use the crayon and scribble on the wall....and then tell me what she had done.
She was given a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and instructed to clean up her mess. This set off a storm of tears, screams, thrashes, and general tantrum throwing during which she informed me, with tears streaming that I was mean..."JUST LIKE THE CINDERELLA'S EVIL STEPMOTHER." I had to walk away at this point because it was too hard not to laugh. Poor Cinder-Sophia.
another random photo from Chepstow Castle in Wales. They are laying on the floor, but it looks more like they are stuck to the wall. Silly kids.
