The boy below has developed a love of mardi gras beads. I don't think he really loves the necklaces so much as the process of putting them on and taking them off. He is only happy when he has ALL of them on.
Those mardi gras beads have been one of the best free toys in the world. Soph and Hank have plaed with them for the past three years. As hard as it is to believe(we had so many), the collection is dwindling as they get broken and lost, so we are going to have to plan another trip to Mardi Gras. We wanted to go this year, but sometimes.....creeks rise. So now we will have to hope for next year. Hopefully someone can send us some beads from the parades this years to supplement our collection.....Aunt T, Uncle J, cousins M and J...*hint*hint* :)
When he wants to show you his beads, he pushes his belly out as far as he can so the bling can be displayed properly. The Husband thinks he looks like a future rap star. We just haven't been able to come up with his future rap name. We will keep working on it.
Apparently, once you get all the beads on you have to run like crazy. Not sure if it is the angle of the photo or not, but that kid has big feet.
