Open Day

The photo above is of Soph clearing up after snack.

The Little Bean's Pre School had an open morning recently and the Beany Family were all there.  Hank-o loved loved loved it!  He desperately wants to go to pre-school like his sister!  He can't join up until September, but he had a wonderful time pretending to be a big boy pre schooler.

Sophia enjoyed being the "big sister" and showing her brother the ropes.  She made sure he followed the rules and helped him get all set up for snack.  The school is so amazing.  They allow the pre schoolers so much independence.  At snack time they pass the plates of food around and each child takes what he or she wants, they also pour their own drinks and then clear up all by themselves.   That whole group mentality keeps them all in line and following the rules.  Hank looks so tiny in the picture above. 

Right after the above photo was taken, Soph chastised her brother and the little girl at the end of the table for having a toy at the table during snack time.  The child is seriously into rules lately.

Hank's favorite station at pre school was the play-doh section.  I really didn't think he was old enough for play doh and I really thought he would eat it.  SO after we got home, I had to break down and open the play doh fun factory I had been keeping hidden in the study.  The Husband made me feel a little bad that I had kept the play-doh under wraps mainly because I didn't want the kids to mix the colors.  Sad, so so sad.
