Happy Birthday to Hank The Tank!

Back when we first brought him home.

Today, my big two year old has certainly developed his own unique personality. 

While he is a fearless wildman, he is still very much a snuggle bunny who loves/needs loads and loads of physical affection. 

The big boy he is now loves tractors, trucks, and most of all, dinosaurs.  He still likes Scooby-Doo and even sleeps with a little scooby stuffed animal, but he would much rather play dinosaurs than anything else.

A strange fact about Hank the Tank is that in his entire two years, he has never ever sat down on his butt in the bathtub. He will only squat.  Until recently, he would prefer not to take a bath at all and only wanted a shower.  Only recently, has he gotten to where he likes the bath.

He was only nine months in the photo above and was already walking.  He hasn't stopped his rather advanced physical accomplishments. 

His love of music and dancing has not diminished.  He LOVES both and usually steals my ipod when we are our running.

His first big boy haircut.  Once it was finished, he looked more like his daddy than ever!

As is probably common for boys, he loves to be outside and play in the mud and dirt.  The only problem is that he HATES to have cold hands.  This was one of the main reasons we didn't have loads of fun in the snow this year.  Once his hands get cold, we have no choice but to go inside as he gets SO SO SO upset.

I can't believe that my baby boy is already two years old.  I long for the days when he was just a tiny little grumpy baby who had to be held constantly, but I so enjoy the big boy he has become and I can't wait to see what this next year will bring for our family.
