Missing SD Card

The lack of recent posts is due to a lost SD card.  The card has the best pictures of all sorts of stuff on there and I was super excited to share them on the blog, but I can not find the card.  The only good thing that has come out of this is that lots of things have been cleaned out in the search for the sd card.  The desk is not immaculate, the junk drawer is no longer junky and all the other drawers in the house are now super tidy.  Still no luck with the SD card, but we are still looking!

Sophia took this photo of herself.  There is something about the pic that I really like.  The color of her hazel eyes with the greeny brown that changes from green to brown to a combination, a feature handed down from her Pap.

The newts have come out of hiding and are down in the bottom part of the pond waiting for us to catch them with our nets.  Both children love to hold the newts and let them wiggle run on their hands.  We took a picture of Sophia with the newt, but it was all blurry.  I am sure there will be more.

We have a LOAD of strawberries in one part of the back yard.  They are a mass of small plants with tiny little strawberries.  Hank could care less, he is mainly just excited that the backyard buffet has been opened and he can start eating all the berries he can find!  There have even been some raspberries that have ripened and immediately gobbled up by my crazy little boy.  In the picture above Hank decided to pick his own berries and got one that was not totally ripe and a little sour.

Don't you spend your days in a t-shirt and underwear walking around the yard picking berries?

  1. I love that photo as well. I think that there is something about her expression that is just beautiful. Hank is very lucky to have days like those!!
