Best. Birthday. Ever.

This year, Sophia managed to have the best birthday ever!  She had an awesome pool party on the 4th and then a lovely birthday evening on her actual birthday with just her family.  My personal opinion is that your birthday should be spent with the people who were there when you were born rather than a huge party with all your friends, but since my personal opinion means little to people other than myself..:)

The above photo is of her having some birthday pancakes.  Pancakes and bacon was her requested birthday supper.  She remembered the candles from last year and asked that they be used on her pancakes!

Hank was so un-interested in her birthday and presents alike.  His sister even offered to let him open one of her gifts.  He could have cared less.  He was mainly playing "Hanky Potato Head."  For some reason he is way more interested in using the potato head limbs and accessories on himself than the actual potatoes!  He loves putting on the glasses and handbag and insisting that he is a, "MEAN GUY!!!!"  We have no idea why glasses and a pocket book make him a mean guy, but it is funny so we go with it!  :)

One of the gifts Sophia received from us was the game Pretty Pretty Princess.  She could not have been more excited.  Her father could not have been less excited!! :)

Lucky little devil, she won the very first time!  I was SO close to being the Pretty Pretty Princess.  Oh well, I guess I will have to settle for the evil queen role since the pretty princess role has been filled!
