The Bean Swims Again

We went back to the pool today and the little bean had a splendid time, except of course, when we put her back in the turtle float. That child hates the terror turtle, as it has now been named. She cries so hard when we put her in there, it is almost as if it hurts her. We checked and checked, but there is nothing sharp or pinchy on the float. No one has any idea what it is about that turtle that upsets our little bean.

With the exception of the turtle of terror, she really loves the water and doesn't even mind going under. She comes back up and is a little shocked and confused, but never cries, coughs, or complains. She will be swimming before she is walking at this rate. The pictures below and to the left are of the bean's new fabulous pink bathing suit and also of her very cool sunglasses.

Always one for new adventures, the little bean had another 'first' today. This afternoon she was sitting with the Gran and trying to grab at her glass of ice water. The Gran thought it would be a good idea to see what happened if gave her a drink. Amazingly, the little bean drank from the glass like a pro! We were so shocked and surprised. She didn't even spill but just a few drops down her chin. So much for the sippy cup. The Gran is much emboldened by this success and that of the biscuit. Lord knows what she will be giving that baby next.
