The Bean's First Swim

Yesterday, we took the little bean up to her aunt's house to take a little dip in the pool. She wore her brand new bathing suit that we got at a yard sale for 50 cents. (I know that kills Auntie K). Her Pap says that she looks like Piglet in her bathing suit. Anyway, the water was a little chilly, but she didn't seem to mind. She splashed and played quite a bit. The only thing that she really didn't like was the little turtle float that her Gran got for her. She was playing and happy, but when put into the turtle float, she leaned back, turned her face to the sky and screamed as though she were being eaten alive by that evil turtle float. We tried it more than once, and each time she reacted exactly the same way; screaming to the heavens to be released from the killer turtle.

The best time she had in the pool was when her Gran put her in all the way up to her chin. She played around and kicked and was just as happy as could be.
Sadly, my camera died halfway into the event, so we only got a few pictures. We did manage to video tape the whole thing to send to her Daddy.

We are going back up there this afternoon, so there should be more pictures.
