Circus Monkey

Today the little bean performed two new tricks. (like she is a circus monkey or something).

She sat up all by herself - twice. She put her hands on the ground to steady herself and held herself in a sitting position.

She likes to stand up on my lap or the floor or whatever, so long as someone holds her up. Two days ago, she decided that she could hold herself up. We were at a restaurant, sitting in a booth, I had Sophie standing up and she put her hands on the table and supported herself. I let go and she just hung out up there and played with the silverware and then spit-up on the table, which was pretty disgusting.

The little monster still has no interest in rolling over. Maybe she just doesn't like doing it and has decided to skip that step. Recently, when she is on tummy time and gets sick of it, she just lays her head down and cries rather than rolling over.

The pictures below are of her being very busy in her exersaucer. Originally, she didn't like it, but as she has gotten bigger and stronger, she thinks it is pretty cool. It is neat to see her little personality come out. She will be playing with one toy and get bored, then move over to a new toy. Before, she just played with whatever was in front of her. I have discovered that the only way I can get a shower is to put her in this exersaucer.
