Identifiable Crying
Since the little bean was born everyone has been telling me that I would be able to identify what was wrong with the little thing based on the sound of her cry. Yeah, well, that didn't really happen. Her cries were more like shrill ear piercing screams that all sounded the same. Rather than knowing exactly what was wrong with her, I just wanted to do anything to make it stop.
Recently, though, there was a breakthrough. I have finally discovered that the whiny annoying cry that never causes tears, is the one that means she needs a nap. The super high pitched dolphin screech means she is in pain. The pain is generally related to a burp that won't come out. Those are the only two that I have figured out. The rest just fall into that random ear piercing scream category.
So it is true, a mother does learn her baby's cries. It only took five months for me to figure it out two of them.
The outfit that the little bean has on is a gift from her 'Great' Aunt. It was her Easter dress, but she made a mess of it on Easter so we didn't get a picture of it then.
