Laundry

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a poor excuse for a housewife. With the little bean, my poor housekeeping skills have been painfully highlighted. Since the little bean has joined my world, I have become intimately connected to my washer and dryer. Not one day goes by that there isn't laundry to wash, laundry to fold, laundry to put away. From spit-up, to baby food, to projectile pee and poo, the little bean soils more clothes, blankets and bibs in one day that I ever thought possible.

I can't help but think of the previous generations and how they handled all the laundry. Especially those who had to use cloth diapers. I actually entertained the idea of using cloth diapers with the little bean. They have changed so much and are so much more ecologically responsible. I even did a lot of research on the topic, but in the end decided that the outlay of money for cloth diapers was just too much, especially since I didn't know if I would stick with it or not.

This picture is of the bean holding her own bottle. She is quite the eater in this family. I think it is clear that she has her father's apetite and metabolism. :)
