Cranky Pants

There is no picture to post tonight. A little girl that we like to call Little Bean was wearing her cranky pants today and they were on super tight. She was whiny all day, and tonight, she reached a new level of fussy. Nothing could stop the crying or whining, food, pacifier, the "teat," toys, nothing. She was just super unhappy. She has finally gone to sleep, and I am not about to disturb her for anything. I think she is trying to get a tooth, she was drooling, screeching, and would nurse, then stop and cry, then nurse, and stop and cry, etc, etc.

Today, I saw something that made me think of just how crazy it is going to be when the little bean gets bigger. While at the grocery store, I saw a little boy waiting in the car for his mom and there was no doubt that he would be in HUGE trouble when she got back to the car. He was around six or seven (a little young to be waiting in the car) and was using the rear view mirror to draw a mustache on his lip with a marker. After a closer look, I noticed he was using a SHARPIE! That little boy is going to have a drawn-on mustache on his face for a long long time. I am not sure what her father and I will do when the little bean does something like that. Hopefully, we will just laugh and leave it alone. Having a fake mustache draw on your face for two weeks is punishment enough.
