We Made It!

After way too much time spent traveling, we finally made it home. We are super tired, but before going straight to bed, I will relate a short story of Little Bean's adventure.
In order to get to the aiport in a timely fashion, we had to leave the house at 0400. It was a three hour drive to the airport, and then we also had to be there two hours early. Everything was going great. The little bean was sleeping soundly in her carseat and we were only 15 miles away when we hit a traffic jam. This coupled with my getting completely lost after getting to the exit, meant we were running pretty late.

We finally got to the terminal, and I knew that the Little Bean was hungry and had a dirty diaper. I also knew that we didn't have time to do anything about it, if we wanted to make that flight. So, we checked in, and were in the security line, when she totally lost it and refused to wait any longer to be fed and changed. She screamed so loudly, and for so long, that the TSA guys came and took us out of the line. They led us to the front where we were 'expedited' through security. Seriously. she was so out of control and loud, that we got to skip the security line.

Things got better from there because she got fed and changed and was a happy bean.
