The Dangers of Learning to Crawl

The Little Bean is learning to crawl. She goes from sitting up to leaning forward to get on her hands and knees. Today we were at Aunt Tic Toc's pool and as we were sitting on the deck, the Little Bean lurched forward to get into "crawl position." She lurched farther and farther, and before she knew it, she fell over and conked her head on the concrete deck. She cried and cried and was so pitiful. She now has a nasty little red mark on her forehead. Poor Little Bean.

Attached are a couple of photos of the Little Bean playing in her crib. She can grab the bars and comes really close to pulling herself up. She almost stands up, but can't get her feet under her.
