New Tricks
My little circus monkey has learned three new tricks. The coolest one by far is that she started saying "mamamama." It is the cutest thing. She looks like a little old man who has taken out his dentures when she makes the sound. It makes everyone laugh. I think she surprised herself when she first did it because she is saying it all the time now.
Her other trick was that she pulled up to standing all by herself. She even got her feet under her and situated just right. She could only do it once though because she was exhausted after the first successful attempt.
Finally, her last trick is a little bit annoying. A few times today when I put her down on the floor to play by herself, she clung to me and wouldn't let go. She wanted to be picked up again and held. This is the first time she has expressed herself so insistently before.
She has had a very busy day today with all of these new skills. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
The pictures above are of the Little Bean floating on a raft at Tic Toc's pool. She really liked the raft because the Gran and the Tic Toc put water on there and made her a little puddle. She splashed and was generally silly. She just loves the water. It is also about a zillion degrees here and the pool was so wonderful. I felt like a little kid. Even though I knew it was time to go home, I didn't want to get out of the water.
