Busy Birthday Weekend

This weekend, we traveled down to my hometown to celebrate the Little Bean's 1st birthday. She had a wonderful party and yet another cake. Needless to say, she was trilled! Lots of our family came to help the little one celebrate her birthday. It was a really special party! Here we all are together while she is wearing her pretty birthday dress.
The Little Bean's personal cake. The black colored cat made a huge mess. The Little Bean loves "kitty kitties" and went straight for that part of the cake.
The Gran had this cake made for the adults. I didn't know that bakeries could that with the photos and I think it is pretty neat! It was a little weird when we cut the cake and ate it with the Little Bean's image staring back at us. ;)
The Little Girl rarely wears dresses. Not because we want her to be a tom boy, but because it is really hard to crawl in a dress. This was one of the first dresses she has worn since she started crawling. If she would learn to walk, I would have her in cute dresses all the time. Maybe that is why she is loathe to walk.
