Winter Weather

After over four years in various locations with hot climates, we are finally living in an area that has seasons. It snowed for the first time yesterday, and while it was just a small bit of snow, we were still excited.

The puppy bean has never seen snow before and his first instinct was to dig. I don't know if the snow covered up the scents that he is accostomed to and so he had to dig them up or what exactly.

As he is getting bigger and older he is learning all sorts of new things. He is much more "nose-oriented" than the Big Bean. Sometimes he get so deeply engrossed in the things that he is sniffing that he doesn't hear us calling him. All of a sudden, he stops sniffing, looks up, and gives you a look that says, "Oh, were you calling me? I didn't hear you!"
