Little Old Lady From Pasadena!

Here are photos of the Little Bean sitting on her little car thingy. She hasn't quite figured out the concept of using her feet to go forward, but she is getting there. She does use her feet to go backwards. Progress.

There isn't much going on today. It is raining and we didn't get to take our daily walk to the park. The puppies are not pleased and have made quite a show of laying around the house looking as bored and pitiful as possible.

This weekend we plan on taking the dogs to the dog park. This will be the Puppy Bean's first time. We saw a giant bulldog at the regular park yesterday and the Pup was desperate to make friends with her, but he was also scared to death. He eventually worked up the courage to check her out. Because of this behavior, I think he will like the dog park. I think we will go to the dog park where I used to go when I lived in the area years ago. The Big Bean loves it because there is a little creek running through it and it is deep enough to swim in. She used to play frisbee and swim for HOURS there. I wonder if dogs remember places when the go back to them after years away.

We also plan on going hiking again. I am a bit nervous after our last hike when the Puppy Bean took off like a maniac. We will have to be more careful with him this time and ensure that he doesn't get a chance to take off.

That object permanence is a tough concept! The had just put a block in there and is checking to see if it is still there.
