Super Swinger

The Little Bean loves the swings at the park. In the past, we would drive past the swings and into the field so that the puppies could play. I tried that today and she started pointing towards the swings and all but stood up in her stroller so she could see them.

She was also a little freaked out about the swings and would make a crazy scared face before. Now, she laughs like a hyena and kicks her feet. She even shrieks in her excitement. It is the cutest thing. It makes me laugh every time.

Yesterday there was another mom there with her two year old. Both babies were swinging next to each other and the Little Bean was doing her happy shrieking giggling thing. She had the other mom cracking up at her.

The only down side to this is when it is time to go. You can imagine the fit that is thrown when I take her out of the swing. Then the shrieking is all in frustration and tears. But she is usually asleep before we even get a quarter of a mile down the road. Maybe the husband and I will have to hang a swing from one of the trees in the backyard. Maybe not, I sort of like the long walk to the park everyday. We will see.
