More Firsts For The Bean

The Little Bean had a few more firsts today. She went to the dentist for the first time. It was a pretty quick visit and the doc just looked at her mouth a bit and talked about the importance of cleaning off her teeth before going to bed. She didn't think much of this guy having his fingers in her mouth, but got over her crankiness pretty quickly. She has two molars that have just broken through yesterday. Normally, she didn't drool very much with her other teeth, but these molars are turning her into a drool ball.

We also got her a potty chair. I realize that it is a bit early for potty training, but we got the chair so that she could get used to it. In addition, she has a pretty regular "routine" and we thought that we would see if we could at least get her to do a few #2s in the potty. We will see how things go.

Below is a photo of her playing with the potty. I am pretty sure that she is going to be a plumber. She takes the potty apart and then puts it together again! Very impressive. Of course climbing into the potty isn't really part of the plumbing business, but... Here she is practicing sitting on the potty and reading a book. She is looking just like the Daddy! Now if she could just sit in there for an hour at a time she would be just like him!
