Growing So Fast

The Little Bean has been doing some serious growing in the past week or so. It is beginning to freak me out, how smart she is getting. It is as though she has started to figure things out all of a sudden. The negative side of this is that we can't trick her as I easily as we could before. If we don't want her to have anymore juice or water and well tell her that it is all gone, she goes and looks for herself! AND, she usually has oatmeal for breakfast while I have Captain Crunch or Frosted Flakes or something. Sometimes, i will let her have a bite of my cereal. Now she knows she likes it and will point to the box on the fridge when I am trying to feed her the oatmeal! When did she get so smart! When she wants a snack, she goes to the cubbard and tries to open it up. And now, instead of trying to eat the dogfood, she feeds it to the dogs kibble by kibble. Even if they are in a different room, she will take a single piece of dogfood to them, come all the way back, get a new piece and take it to them, etc etc.

But thre are two particulr actions that she had begun lately that signifies that she really is turning into a big girl. She likes the song "Ring Around The Rosies" and whenever The Husband or I send it, she spins around or she will hold our hands and walk in a circle. She hasn't quite gotten the idea of the "all fall down" part, but she loves it when the Husband and I fall down and pull her with us. She giggles like a goof.

The other milestone is that tonight, she used THE POTTY! She made a #2 in the potty! We are so proud. Not sure if it was just a fluke or a step in the right direction. Only time will tell.
